Bootie
Change
Airspeed is slowly moving toward the XL bootie. In fact
at this moment there are only two members of Airspeed
not using the XL bootie.
Production Schedule
Due to an influx of orders, regular orders
are running 8 weeks and rushes are at 4.
New Bootie Option
Neal Houston has been testing
a Ballistic fabric for the booties on his Pit Special
and says that they are much more responsive than cordura
and thinks they will keep their properties (stiffness)
better over time. The Ballistic Booties are a $20 option.
Windtunnel
People have been telling me that the Zero P fabric used
on the Ouragan suit falls slower in the wind tunnel.
After initial testing with some of our coaches, we agree.
Though this fabric is very hot to wear on a summer day
in Florida, we think it is a great option for the windtunnel
where small, high lift suits are required. The
Zero P is lined with Supplex and we are also testing
it with mesh lining for comfort. This is a $40 option
of the Space Suit.

Camera Flyers:
On the C-wing, the brass RSL clips have been discontinued.
We are now using the black "fastec" clips as standard,
RSL clips are available for an additional $30. New
Vented Bootie!
WE HAVE A NEW DESIGN! Available in the Regular and Mega
booties, the new vented bootie has a lining on the inside
allowing the bootie to inflate upon leg extension. Used
by the French, Italian and Golden Knights, this new style
is also suitable for heavier jumpers, we do not recommend
them for light weight jumpers.
